Catapulted by its new Altairnano lithium-titanate batteries, Dennis piloted the dragster to a new, official time of 7.956 seconds at 159.85 miles per hour. It was Sunday, December 30th at Southwestern International Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Having just set a new, unofficial record two weeks earlier, all eyes were on Dennis Berube as he shaved time off his ETs run by run.
